It's A Dangerous Business, Going Out Your Front Door...

"What's past is prologue" is a quote from The Tempest by the most magical William Shakespeare, and the tagline "If you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you'll be swept off to" is, of course, from the Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien. Not only are these authors British, but I truly adore their work and they are a huge part of my life.

I will valiantly try to keep this blog updated (at least) weekly with all of my adventures. I'm expecting to do a few posts in the next five or so days about my home and classes, and such.

I'm leaving Corvallis tomorrow at 800am for a 1245pm flight, but I won't arrive in England until 1030am on Friday! Packing has been quite the ordeal since I am a notorious over-packer:

                                          Too much stuff?! Challenge Accepted.

But I have indeed prevailed, only having to discard maybe 6 pieces of clothing and 1 pair of shoes (beautiful brown boots...sigh).

Well, all that's left to do now is make trailmix and nutella cookies, then I'm off to bed. Talk to you on the other side of the Atlantic!
